Recipe of bread with olive oil
An easy-to-make olive oil bread recipe.
250g of T55 flour
2 sachets of baker’s yeast
2 teaspoons of salt
6 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil Picholine
30 cL of water
Mix the flour and water to form a soft dough, which does not stick and leave for 1 hour.
Then add the Picholine extra virgin olive oil and salt to the dough.
Add the baking powder and knead the dough for about 15 minutes (preferably in a food processor).
Make a ball with the dough and let it rest in a bowl ( covered with film and oiled with olive oil…) for 1 hour. Lift the dough slightly and leave to rest for another 1 hour.
Place the dough on your work surface and degas it. Leave to rest for 1 hour.
Preheat your oven to 210°C, leaving the baking tray at the bottom of your oven. Form a ball with the dough, cut and flour it. Put the dough in the oven on a rack and pour a glass of water on the hot tray left at the bottom of the oven to create steam and obtain a golden brown bread. Leave to bake for about 30 minutes, watching the baking process.
