The extra virgin PDO Nyons olive oil from the Moulin de Haute Provence is a pure fruit juice with a ripe fruity and a subtle taste. Ripe fruity is quite rare and offers the advantage of a very diversified use in cooking. The oil is smooth and soft. It is marked by a taste of fresh butter in the mouth. Finely fruity, it offers aromas of green apple and dried fruit (hazelnut and almond).
Olives of the Tanche variety are picked when ripe from the orchards of Michel Fayant, Baronnies and Nyonsais. They are crushed and packaged at the Moulin de Haute Provence in Buis le Baronnies, France. This reputed single variety olive oil is appreciated by chefs for its typicity. Recommended on: salads, raw vegetables, ratatouille, pasta, risotto, garlic, fried eggs, potatoes, starches, fish, poultry, lamb and dessert making.
